Worship Committee
On May 23rd everyone is invited to load the bus at 6:00 pm and travel to see the Greensboro Grasshoppers play the Delmarva Shorebirds. Ticket price is $9.00. Please bring correct change. Do not bring a check. As a courtesy your ticket is purchased for you after you make your reservation. Seats are located near home plate. Eat before you arrive at church or eat at the park and all your soft drinks, water, etc $1.00. Call the church office, 299-6330 by Sunday, May 12th to reserve your seat.
Please don't forget this amazing event sponsored by your Evangelism Team with help from our Methodist Men. The event will take place immediately following our morning worship service. We will be serving hot dogs and hamburgers at our church shelter. This is a great time for you to invite your extended family and friends to attend church with you for fellowship and eat a free meal. Causal dress is acceptable for both the Worship Service and Cookout. Shorts are fine too.
Aldersgate Craft Fair is on Saturday, June 8th 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Hinshaw Church. Rain or shine. There will be an extensive variety of hand-made craft items for home decor, gift-giving, personal wear and baby items.
Adult and Youth participants in this summer's Appalachia Service Project will host a car wash and bake sale. on Saturday, June 8th 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. Hinshaw Church. Rain or shine. Cash or Check only.
Men's Breakfast and Program
The Hinshaw UMM very much appreciate donations for their yard sale and for people coming to purchase items at the sale, which will be held on Saturday, June 15th from 7:00 am to noon. We will collect items for the yard sale at the church on June 12th, 13th and 14th from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm.
ASP 2013 will take place from July 7th - 13th 2013. The theme for ASP 2013 is: Radical Reversal. Scripture: Mark 10:43-45. The last day to make a reservation for ASP 2013 is Sunday November 18th 2012 Please pass the word. Speak to Jim Waynick for reservation details.
