ASP Training Day
On Tuesday, May 22nd all adults are invited to load the bus at 8:00 am and we'll travel to the National D-Day Memorial in Bedford, Virginia. The cost is $10.00 per person for admission/tour. Bus fuel cost will be shared among those in attendance. Please bring cash. We will stop for coffee on the way and eat lunch in the Bedford area. Please call the church by noon Monday May, 21st to reserve your seat on the bus. Remember to always invite a friend.
Trustees Meeting
The Evangelism Team will be hosting a Cookout immediately following our 11:00 Worship Service on May 27th. This Memorial Weekend Cookout is free courtesy of your Evangelism Team. So don't miss this wonderful day of fellowship and food. Dress casual for the 11:00 service. Bring your family, your neighbors, and your friends and their friends.Everyone is invited. For the past two years we have had this event, we have had great attendance.
The United Methodist Women are sponsoring a trip for everyone to our conference mission response warehouse. This is a working trip for sorting and packing mission items for shipment to distribution centers. Wear comfortable work clothes. Bring a folding bag chair or folding chair. Bring a bag lunch and various snacks. Bring several drinks. A cooler with ice will be provided. On Tuesday, May 29th we will load the bus at 8:00 am and travel to the Lake Norman area to the community of Terrell. We will stop for coffee on the way. We will stop for ice cream or a snack on the way home. Bus fuel cost will be shared by those on the trip. Please call the church office by noon on Monday, May 28th to place your name on the list for the trip.
